Hello, fellow foodie!
I’m Colleen, a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist who loves to experiment in the kitchen to create healthy, easy, plant-based meals and snacks. I graduated from Marywood University with a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics, and I am currently pursuing a Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Public Health Communications and Marketing at George Washington University. I enjoy half-marathons, yoga, long hikes, cooking, and teaching others about nutrition. I love trying out new restaurants in the area that offer tasty, veg-friendly options which especially has been a fun experience since my recent move to Washington D.C.
I started this blog to empower people to cook delicious meals for themselves that are nutritionally-balanced but still delectably flavorful! I hope to encourage others to enter their kitchens without fear of failure inspiring them to prepare healthy meals that can be enjoyed with both family and friends. On this blog, I will be sharing nutritional advice, healthy recipes, and mealtime inspirations, and I will address current nutritional trends to clear up any misconceptions about the effects of certain nutrients on the body.
